Description

This is a spacious, open, one bedroom, one bath condominium located on the west edge of Aspen's downtown core. Aspen's world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all within easy walking distance. This condominium has a fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar with a separate dining area, a gas fireplace, wireless internet, and a washer/dryer, and off-street parking is provided behind the building. It is a standard rated unit on the second floor, and though not completely renovated with the last two years, it offers very comfortable accommodations in a great location! Sleeping up to four people with its king-sized bed in the bedroom and additional pull-down full-sized Murphy bed in the living room, it is a perfect unit for a couple or up to four people. Call us, and allow McCartney Property Management's guest services to open the door to your Aspen experience! Parking at the complex is on a first come, first served basis. Guests may park in either the outdoor lot, or in the underground garage.

We stayed here during Aspen Food + Wine and couldn't have been happier! You could throw a rock at the festival tent so the location could not have been better. The condo was cozy and comfortable. Lots of kitchen utensils and lots of coat hangers in the closet which is a weird quirk of mine and greatly appreciated! Toiletries in the bathroom are always appreciated as well. Property management company was lovely to work with. This is listed on their page so NOT a dig at the property at all, but word to the wise that the unit does not have A/C. They do provide fans to keep you comfy at night though! Overall a great place to stay for Food + Wine, and exactly as advertised in the listing. Thank you!

We really liked our stay at this Aspen Condo. It is exactly like what has been described on the site. The location is perfect very close walking distance to Silver Gondola, Aspen Mountains shuttles and all the restaurants. The space was great for a family of three. The condo was cozy, practical, clean and very inspiring with a lot of art pieces. The property management team was really positive and helpful with my questions as it was our first time in Aspen and the process was really easy. I would highly recommend this condo.

Charles’s condo is in the perfect location! Right next to the bus stop to take you directly to the slopes (Snowmass, Buttermilk, etc.) and less than a 5 minute walk to everywhere in town. It is located right next to the Limelight Hotel. Easy check in too, which was nice since we got in at about 11pm. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for the Annual Aspen Ruggerfest (as he was playing in the tournament). It was the perfect location for the rugby field as it was less than a block away. Aside from the rugby field, this was the perfect location for restaurants, bars and shops. I did my power walk in the mornings and realized how close everything was to the property. The place itself looks better in person! Very clean and perfect for my husband and me. The king-size bed was super comfortable. (The murphy bed in the living room was "okay" in comfort but what can you expect with a murphy bed). My husband and I will definitely come back each year to stay here for the Ruggerfest.

Perfect location, really nice design, and easy to cook and get comfortable for a few days. Host is a great communicator with a business office helping orchestrate cleaning, check in, and answering questions at all hours.

Convenient location for walking to everything in Aspen. Parking options, and view from bedroom balcony was wonderful.

This unit is *really* convenient for walking distance access to downtown Aspen shops, restaurants, parks, and other offerings. The unit offers multiple parking options (dedicated outdoor and indoor parking plus on-street when available). The view from the MBR and attached balcony was wonderful. The kitchen was well-equipped and accommodated our party of two for breakfast and lunch. Even though our stay was in August we were happy to have the fireplace available after a particularly chilly/damp evening out. Communications with the host were timely and informative.

Location was perfect! Home was spotless and as pictured.

Amazing location, perfect amenities. Would recommend to anyone looking to ski any of the mountains. Bus stop directly outside and only two blocks from Ajax. Walkable to tons of bars and restaurants.Thank you so much! Perfect spot for our trip and loved the fireplace.

The location is very quick close to the slopes and the gondolas. you're never too close from downtown to Aspen also so you're able to walk around into the shops. The location is just a stone throw away from a great bakery.

This is a comfortable apartment right in the heart of Aspen. Great to have off-street parking. People at the rental agency were super helpful. We did several wonderful hikes and walked out for takeout meals in the evening. I was with my son and slept in the the Murphy bed, very comfortable.Charming Condo Aspen core

we ended up coming into Aspen for a long fall weekend, and this was a great location. right in the middle of town, with a fully outfitted condo we were able to cook one or two meals and go out for the rest. The bed in the back was comfortable, the condo slightly dated but in a wonderfully nostalgic type of way. Would definitely stay here again.

“This unit is clean and cozy. It’s not large, but plenty big for two people. It does have a Murphy bed in the family room, but it would be a bit crowded for four, IMHO. The unit is older but well-kept and clean. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The property management company is excellent — great communication and very willing to help with anything. There is an underground parking lot, which is very handy. If you are an avid TV-watcher, you might be disappointed with the size of the TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the family room). But who comes to Aspen to watch TV? This condo is right across the street from the main open-space park in Aspen town. In the summer it’s filled with kids, dogs, families, people working out. Walk across the park and you’re in the heart of Aspen’s core, with shops and restaurants galore. The location could not be better. Close to everything but quiet. Nice neighbors, too. In all, a great, comfy place in a fantastic location.” “Your place is lovely. As someone who likes to cook, I would have appreciated a quality knife for chopping vegetables etc. The sauté pans are also quite old and worn. These small items would make the kitchen much better for those who want to cook for themselves. I hope to return to Aspen and would definitely consider staying in 2C again! Fred”

“This condo was in a perfect location. After arriving in Aspen, we could easily walk anywhere in the city we needed to go. Nice master balcony. We thought it was chic and clean, with nice dishes, stove, etc. Only thing I didn't like was lack of windows - main front window has people walking past it, but I would take that for the location. We would stay here again when in Aspen.”

McCartney Property Management was excellent. The condo was located with an easy walk to the mountain and to town. The murphy bed was a great set up for the second couple, we liked it much better than a pull-out couch. The place had everything we needed. Loved our stay.

I was very satisfied with my stay. This place has two beds and big enough for 4 people. You can even ski right to the front door from the lift if their is enough snow! McCartney was very helpful and kind. Best rental company I have been a part of.

The apartment was very well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable and the location can't be beat. We were 3 blocks from the base of ajax and right outside the front door the free ski bus took us to aspen Highlands. The property manangement was very friendly and helpful, even offering discounted lift tickets if needed. I will definetely go there again.

Poor customer service

The apartment was very noisy - could hear right through the walls and very noisy pipes or heating (or something else?) throughout the night made sleeping very difficult - sounded like someone with boots was pacing upstairs all night long.The management was extremely rude and unhelpful. The worst treatment I have received on a vacation and was thoroughly disappointed.It is a shame, because the location is good, and I have stayed there in the past, however along with the poor treatment and noisyness, they had not maintained the apartment with dirty mattress protectors, shower curtains etc... The toilet blocked & they did fix it but the bathroom smelled afterwards. I would not recommend this rental as a result.

It upsets us whenever a guest, especially a multi-return guest, has an unhappy experience. This said, we do not know how to respond to negative reviews that we know to be unfair and untrue. While it is unfortunate that this guest while visiting was bothered by a noisy neighbor (who was not one of our guests), we did try to get this noisy neighbor to quiet down. Then we did try to reach an agreement with this guest to move them to a higher rated and larger condo (the only other condo available at the time). This guest has always stayed in this condo; in fact he specifically requested this condo for the third year in a row and then negotiated a very low nightly rental rate. When we offered this guest the larger and higher rated condo for $90 more per night we learned the offer was not acceptable. They wanted to be moved for the same cost that they were currently paying. We explained that we manage many properties for different owners; we are not a hotel where the company owns all of the rooms. This is of course unfortunate as we would have loved to been able to move this guest for the same nightly cost. The $90 additional amount per night we requested equaled a 50% discount off of what that condo regularly rents for, we just couldn't go any lower. This is when this multi-return guest started making stuff up.
As you can see from other reviews posted for this condominium, this is a quality property offering great access to everything Aspen has to offer. It is our hope that you will decide to give us the chance to serve you as our guest during your next vacation to Aspen or at the very least to present you with a quote for your upcoming vacation to Aspen, thank you.
