Set against the beautiful Rocky Mountain sunrise backdrop, the Snowmass Balloon Festival features 3 days of spectacular hot-air balloon launches that offer the perfect end to the summer season. As fall rolls across the mountains, the leaves change and the air gets that crisp feeling once again, the masses flock to Snowmass Town Park for this annual event. A shuttle offering free transportation through Snowmass Village to Town Park is available, and visitors are also invited to hike or bike the beautiful trails for an up-close view of the launches. After watching the launch, enjoy a delicious breakfast or brunch in the Snowmass Mall or Base Village.
