What Airport Should I Fly Into for Aspen?
Typically, those traveling to Aspen would fly into the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport right here in town. ASE is the closest airport to our vacation rental properties and the most convenient option overall.
It is important to keep in mind, however, that the airport routinely closes every spring for maintenance. If you’re trying to visit in the springtime, it’s okay! ASE is not the only airport in the area.
How Long Will the Aspen Airport Be Closed?
The Aspen airport will be closed for routine, annual maintenance from May 5th to June 1st, 2025.

The yearly closure is part of ASE’s commitment to providing a safe, dependable travel experience. Regular maintenance helps ensure safer travels for all passengers, so it’s a good thing for everyone!
